Roma star Paulo Dybala has been left out of the Argentina squad for upcoming friendlies and more crucially the Copa America, but Lautaro Martinez, Leandro Paredes and Nico Gonzalez are included.

La Seleccion will play Ecuador and Guatemala next month as warm-ups for the tournament, which kicks off against Canada on June 20.

Coach Lionel Scaloni named his 29-man squad, which will be cut down to 26 for the Copa America.

However, Dybala is not even on the long-list, meaning the Roma player will miss out on the tournament.

La Joya has struggled all season long with injuries, which have blighted most of his career.

Dybala dropped by Argentina

His Roma teammate Leandro Paredes is in the group, with Fiorentina defender Lucas Martinez Quarta and winger Nico Gonzalez.

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is called up, along with Monza forward Valentin Carboni, who is on loan from the Nerazzurri.

Carboni is only 19 years old and made 30 Serie A appearances this season for Monza, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
