Torino defender Alessandro Buongiorno is ready to reject interest from Juventus, as Inter Milan, AC Milan, Chelsea, Spurs, Napoli, and Roma are all keen.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper report that the 24-year-old would be reluctant to join his boyhood club’s city rivals.

This summer, Torino defender Buongiorno will certainly be one of the hot names on the market in Serie A.

The Italian international has been one of the outstanding defenders in the Italian top flight this season.

Moreover, Buongiorno’s age also makes the player an obvious targets for the big clubs.

Buongiorno could very easily play for a decade at the level he currently is.

One club that could certainly see Buongiorno as a target is Juventus.

The Bianconeri are aiming to retain their perch at the top of Italian football after a few years in which they’ve struggled.

But according to Tuttosport, Buongiorno would have little interest in joining Juventus.

Juventus have signed defenders directly from Torino in the past.

Angelo Ogbonna and Bremer, two of the Granata’s outstanding defenders in the modern era, have both made the switch directly to the Bianconeri half of Turin.

But according to Tuttosport, Buongiorno would not likely follow them.

The 24-year-old grew up as a Torino fan, and came through the Piedmontese club’s academy.

For this reason, Buongiorno would rather move to a difference club should he leave Torino this summer.

Inter would certainly be among the possible destinations for Buongiorno. And the Nerazzurri see the Italian international as an ideal long-term successor to Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij.

However, AC Milan, Roma, and Napoli are all also hoping to rival Inter for Buongiorno.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport report that from the Premier League, London duo Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have also inquired about Buongiorno already.
